Has anyone in the u.k painted their decking instead of staining it. I keep thinking it would look better if all the rails were painted but kept the floor natural. I love the pale blue/green colour. Any advice welcome.

Wood stains come in many different colours so you may find what you are looking for on the shelves of a DIY store

We painted the decking - but I really would recommend stain as the paint does have a greater tendancy to wear off in high use areas
