Might be worth covering with a horticultral fleece at night until frost has passed. They flower early and frost can kill the flowers off. Sunny warm days get a small paint brush and gently stoke all the flowers stamens to help pollinate the flowers. Not many insects around at the moment as it is still rather cold, so you will have to help it fruit.

You will have to pick off any fruit that develops in this first year as the tree needs all it's energy to develop a good root system. Be ruthless as it will be worth it next year. Don't plant it too near the fence as the branches will spread out more than you imagine. I'd say at least 3 feet away.
