Clematis watering.
Ever since I discovered, courtesy of GoY members how thirsty clematis are, I have been watering them copiously and regularly. The results have been amazing, compared with last year and the rate of growth and the quality and quantity of flowers have been outstanding, so well done you.
Now that the plants are settling down to pass the winter, I'm wondering if I should now slow down, decrease or even stop the watering and I would welcome your opinion.

If it is hot where you are I would suggest continuing to water until the weather cools down.
