concerned about my lawn

will all this snow and ice do any harm to a lawn that was newly laid in early october 2008.im pretty worried that the new grass may perish with the cold,any advice or comments please.

Don't worry, in every 4ins. of snow there is a free dressing of grass fertilizer. Do not walk about on it or make snowmen, just as our previous answers on 6th. January.
