can I plant tulip bulbs now and if I do when will they flower. Live in N. Ireland and temperatures during the summer will max at 17-20 degrees

They're not available in shops until autumn Shaun and that's the time to plant them.

If you have just dug them from the garden or a container then I would either plant them now or keep them somewhere dry and cool, like the fridge, until they become available in the shops in late summer.

I've heard that November is the best time to plant them.
