my mexican orange blossom (choisya ternata) has stopped blooming after it was pruned back 2 years ago. It's planted in the ground in a spot that gets afternoon sun. How can I make it bloom again?

the only thing i can think off is that it's not getting enough sun or it may be too exposed now, they don't like cold exposed sites, and need a reasonable amount of sun...
