i have a Sambucus Rac. sutherland Gold how big does it get and can you prune it?

It can get to 4m x 4m . I wish mine would. It's really struggling to get going this year.
You can cut it back to ground level in spring, or just give it a trim to the size you want or you can do nothing at all.
All three options are fine.
