Does anyone know where to buy bulbs for the really old- fashioned Tiger Lilies - the yellow, strong smelling ones we used to have? I know the more modern varieties are bigger and last longer, but the particular smell of the old ones really takes me back to when I was a kid - a very long time ago!

The scientific name of the tiger lily is Lilium lancifolium. You can do a search on this and try to find someone selling the actual species.

My tiger lilies are orange/red. I have yellow ones that are called leopard lilies.

Certainly many of the bulb specalists stock them.
