hello my neighbour has a cherry tree in her garden that has lost all its flowers, on looking at it yesterday we noticed the whole tree including the main stem is covered in what looked like a fungus, it is white each piece is about 1/8th of an inch long and when i got a stick and poked one of them it was sticky
can you help please
