Anyone else got snow this morning

damp and chilly but no snow!how deep is it?

You are right Spritz. Here on the Yorkshire coast we have snow. Just a little where we are but it was on the weather forecast that Scarborough is cut off from Whitby because of a road accident over the moors. I suppose I will have to wait for the local news to find out if anyone was injured. I hope not but the Whitby road is treacherous. Have a look at some of Bonkersbon's scenic photos. There is no 'major' road and the land goes up very high.

I had to drag Ed out for his walk this morning. We got to the end of the road where there is a common. He did one and ran home before I could get his lead back on. He hates snow.

As I write (12.55p.m.) the heavens have just opened and it is coming down again a lot faster and bigger than the morning snow.

No snow in Hungary yet, but it is freezing in the wind. Snow in forcast but we tend to be a dry country. Forecast says that Monday will feel like -7 with wind chill. Out with the thermals and boots again.

No snow in Glamorgan, but keen, getting the cold air off your snow. Hubby was able to dig a bit more veggy garden this morning to let the air into the soil after the summer trampling while picking the veg. We had wooden slat path ways but they have rotted away, must get around to making some more! with all the wet weather we have to grab a chance when we can. not much left to dig now.

Chilly but sunny and bright in Hampshire, quite looking forward to a little snow, alright for us old ones, can stay indoors and do nothing.....!!!!!!

Update on Hungary. The white stuff arrived on Saturday evening.

We're threatened with it early this week to as low as 200 mtrs. As we live at 600 mtrs we're obviously in for it! Trouble is when it snows heavily here we tend to get snowed in for a few days until the snowploughs have finished making life easy for the valley folk and finally decide to help us mountain folk out. Ah well .... been shopping so the freezer's full and my partner replenished the wood store yesterday so we'll just cuddle up by the fire and wait it out.

No snow here only heavy rain.

Arlene road in line with garden but think its about 3inches but we are clearing pavement and paths as if more comes today heavier to move.

Snow in The Thames Valley overnight, unheard of in November. We're all DOOMED.
Passiflora still flowering and plenty of fruit for the birds, Antirrhinums still in full bloom.

Some Snow Today, But Not Much

we got snow about 10am this morning being sunday

Well that is it for us (this time). A few flurries this a.m. but water is now dripping from the branches and Ed is in the garden rubbing on factor 20. Hope we don't get too much of it this winter on the Yorkshire riviera.

No snow today, and none expected, but the wind is just FEARSOME! I nearly got blown off the path and into the stream when I came back from church this morning! No kidding, either - it's roaring around the house and down the chimneys!

No snow in Wales - well not Carmarthenshire anyway.
Very heavy rain this morning, - blustery now and a bit chlliy too.
