After having a mass of flowers this year, our apple tree has now started to drop the small fruits but some 'clusters' are shrivelling up and the leaves are turning brown and dying - but not all of them.
Any ideas please? How do we treat it.

You've told me the browning leaves are directly behind the withered blossoms, and I've asked whether the blossoms have remained attached to the tree or have fallen...

Few questions first - how long have you had the tree? In the ground, not in a pot? Are the blossoms still present, but shrivelled, on the tree, or did they drop of as they shrivelled? Are the browning leaves directly behind the shrivelled blossoms?
