Pieris Japonica, can they be a house plant?

United States

Is it possible to have a Pieris Japonica as a house plant ?

On plant Pieris japonica

You may get away with it in a large light conservatory but I don't think it would appreciate(for long) being in a warm room with possibly artificial light.

I would think it would be far too warm inside. After all it's an outdoor shrub which grows quite large with time and doesn't particularly do well in pots . Also avoid alkaline soil.

How do I say thanks?
