This belongs to Group 2. Therefore it needs no major pruning, except to remove dead or weak stems in late spring.

prune to 6-8 inches above soil level now FEB 2nd week and no harm will come to youre clemmie..Ihave for last 2 yrs and am very pleased with the results .
