Osteospermum end up tall and woody

Sorry if I have spelt this incorrectly. I take cuttings of this, but they always end up rather tall & woody with few flowers, and the flowers are small. How do I get them looking as though from a nursery?

Well done for getting them to root - I haven't succeeded with Osteospermum cuttings yet! I'm sure that BB is right - pinching the growing points does help to make most plants bush out.
