Better in a sunny position, Tilly. It is normal to soak the corms for 24hrs before planting.

I have finally managed to get a clump to survive!! It's in full sun (once the sun gets high enough to shine over the house in spring!). The main thing is not to dig it all up after it's gone dormant. Make sure you mark it's position.
