Mystery Plant

London, United Kingdom

Please can someone tell me what plant/shrub this is - I have been trying to identify it for sometime - I thought at first it was an Escallonia but its leaves seem to be too big. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Any chance of a closer photo John. Is it evergreen or not, and has it flowered.

I believe the plant is evergreen - it produces small white flowers - here is close up of the foliage. I can provide you with a view from another angle if you like.

Hi. I believe this plant could be Pittosporum tobira? Its common name is Japanese Mock Orange. Flowers late spring to early summer.

To Limelight - I double checked this, yes you are right, it is a Japanese Mock Orange. Regards John
