Hi any idea what has been chomping on one of my meyer lemon plants stems ,( the one on the left)ive never had this problem before.Thanks all gardening pals.

i suspect a mollusc of some sort.

Thanks sbg wasn't sure as i couldn't see a slime trail or any of the blighters nearby as its on a table .Thought it was a bit strange as the leaves are untouched ,just the stem and on the one plant.
