The fronds of my Dicksonia Antarctica seem to be trying to emerge all at the same time. They seem to be stuck as they have been in the same position for a week. Any ideas how to help them out.

Probably just hanging back a bit, for fear of late frost. Mesquite trees do the same thing in the Arizona desert.

They will be fine, the air temp in the UK has dropped so that will be why growth has stopped for the time being. just be patient.

The ones I care for always come good and are in the same state as yours, they do take a little time to come through so I don’t think you should worry, I always give them a water from the top and a little at the base, have been doing this for the past fifteen years with good effect.
