Can you tell me the name of this plant, had it 3 years or so, it does'nt have a flower but the leaves are a rich red colour. I don't know anything about the plant itself,

It's a corosma.

I.e. Coprosma, a lovely plant from New Zealand. Maybe C. 'Pacific Sunset', though the tall branch in back looks like it is reverting.

Nellie you need to choose whether you like the plain leaves or the variegated ones because if you leave the plain ones to grow they will take over.

Its the red leaves I want to stay, so do I just cut the green leaves back. I love this plant and don't know what I should do!!!!!

Nellie - look at each shoot carrying the plain leaves. Follow it back to where it starts and cut the whole shoot out completely.
