How tall does a winter flowering jasmine (yellow) grow. I've got one in a pot which I got from my brother and as I don't know how high it grows, I don't know where to plant it. Anyone know?

It is probably best trained up a trellis, Sheilar. It grows about six to twelve feet and fans out.

Thanks for that Bulbaholic and Drc726, I didn't realise it would grow so tall - I thought it was a small bush! Sheila

Well it does flop over if you dont support it. Mines about 5-6ft high and the same wide, but I trim it quite a bit.

YOu need to tie it in to supports, Sheilar, it doesn't climb on its own at all. Without support it forms a sort of spreading, sprawly mound. You can keep the size down easily though - its supposed to be pruned back hard after its flowered in early spring.

How do I say thanks?
