RHS Greening Grey Britain

Having read about the RHS Greening Grey Britain campaign, I'm considering whether to add to my front driveway/garden and hopefully improve its kerb appeal.
It would be interesting to know how you have combined a front garden with parking, or if this campaign has inspired you to maybe add plants to somewhere else such as a side alley?

my neighbour has planted creeping plants like thyme in between the paving slabs on his front garden. he also put in small campanulas.
