Easy peasy from seed though, just buy a packet and sprinkle where you want them to grow - fabulous scent, weedy looking plant.

Not normally. They look scraggly and don't look great. Being annuals they are normally just sown in prepared soil where they are to flower. You can grow them in pots and place them where you want the scent of course.
