I have a very large beautiful tub, I had a bamboo that outgrew it. It takes a lot of soil to fill it so it needs a plant(or plants) that can stay in it for all weathers. Can I have some suggestions please?

you could put a l shrub in, I've a lovely cammelia as my soil is not acid, but there ore many these days( even fruit trees) -- I usually put them in a plastic pot first as its easier to repot when the time comes also in the winter you can push stray or bubble plastic/newspaper between the pots to act as insulation for the roots
