ive found an unusual looking plant /weed in my garden ..
it stands on a single green grass like stem ..with purple round pods that have a green spike coming out of the top of each pod ...i have these scattered all over a new garden and am unsure as to weather they are a plant or a weed ..wandered if anyone on here would know x

this sounds like nigella or love in a mist. but moongrower is correct a photo would be excellent.
