My Schizostylis is throwing up flower spikes...isn't this rather early? Is anyone else having the same experience?

Yes, i am .... and yes, it is too early.
Mine's not the right colour though, it's come through as almost white and it's S. coccinea 'Major' ..... definately 'not' white !!!

Hi Louise. What's going on? I hope this doesn't mean that we are to be deprived of all that glorious colour in the Autumn!

Who knows ;-)
I'm hoping it'll sort itself out on it's own .... will 'you' do anything to yours .... dig it up, feed it, leave it ??

I don't know!!...I should have divided it earlier on but...you know how it is in the garden...never enough time to do all that needs doing. Still... wouldn't have it any other way. I think I shall just wait and see...you can't beat nature!
