Hi I bought a Achillea "The Pearl" about five weeks ago and now the flowers and just below the flowers on the first leaves are curling up and look fairly nasty to me has any one any idea of what it is and how to rectify it?kind regards. pathumwan

could also be down to thrips sap suckers that lead to this distortion.

Hard to be sure but it could be a greenfly infestation - have a close look for them on the stems - certainly looks as if there's something there. If its that you can spray with soapy water or an insecticide, but you might need a systemic one (without nicotine)to get at any inside the curled leaves so do it in the evening when there are no other insects about.
