Hi,

I have some items in pits as we've recently had building work done so I never planted them in the ground because our yard has been demolished!
Now I have a peanut with rotting buds and a wee lilac with brown spots on the leafs. My rhubarb is also suffering a bit. Previously two years they have do a well. I'm in Scotland, not sure if it's coincidence, or something "going around"? And just wondering what is up with them?

The poeny looks like it has mildew, just take the blooms off that are damaged and the lilac seems to have leaf burn, maybe from water splashes. I don't think either are particularly deadly.

As for the rhubarb if you have moved it this year it will need to re-establish itself, Give it a good feed to rotted manure or compost this autumn and don;t take any stalks of it next year.

How do I say thanks?
