Is there any reason not to use self seeded tomato plants?

Hello.

Looking at some pots I grew tomatoes in last year I notice some tom plants have sprung up.

Is there any reason why I can't use these plants?

It is possible that the yield may be lower than last year, but otherwise no. Try planting a few more that usual to make up any shortfall.

Depending on the variety it may not come true to the parent, but it should be interesting.....
