I have taken over an overgrown allotment. I expected hard work but it is a nightmare! The plot has been covered with carpet and black plastic and weed suppressant, but the weeds and couch grass have grown on top of this. Can you advise me on how to tackle this? The carpet has to be cut to allow me to lift it and its hard work disposing of it as well. Help!
