Prunus ID. Probably over 30 years old, the flowers smell of Almonds.
Im hopeless of flowering cherries.
Any ideas ?

Hi, if it smells of almonds, are you sure it's a flowering cherry, and not a flowering almond, does it get little red berries on in the autumn ?, Derek.

Definately a cherry Derek. Maybe my sense of smell is shot to bits lol !!!!

Too far away to see the blossom clearly - is it white or pale pink? What colour is the foliage when its out? What colour is the bark - is it a bit shiny and brown?
