Hello
I have a strange question I bought a plant about a week and half ago called Cassia plant and now I noticed some weird looking bugs on it. I think they are pod sucking bugs they almost look like crickets but they fly. Anyhow will these bugs kill my plant. The reason I got this plant was to attract the Sulphur butterflies which I noticed visiting the past 2 days. But now I am scared this new invader will do some damage. Please help
Thanks

they sound like weavels to me a little beetle with a long slim snout for want of a better name.they arnt to good but if you keep an eye on your plant and just take them of and kill them it should be ok .

its just not easy anywear to protect against bugs on the wing realy so what i said earlier is the best idea.you could take a photogragh and ask someone in the know or ask in google maybe what pests your type of plant gets in your area.

HI Guys
I actually did what Noseypotter said and I took a picture of it and then took it to my favorite Nursery and they told me its a Leaf Footed Bug they can kill my plant but since I am using the plant to attract butterflies there is not much I can do to get rid of it except catch them and destroy them. So I went out to the plant and there was only one so I tried to catch it but it flew away. I sprayed the plant with soapy water hopefully they wont come back because they are gross looking at least to me. They look like crickets with wings eeewww lol. Thanks for your help :)
