I have just brought 20 terracotta Norwich cider bottles and would like to make a garden feature out of them has anyone got any ideas they are about 12inches high and 4inches round

Why not make some cider, fill them with it and you could be the feature drinking them in your garden in the summer ;o)

Full or empty ;-).
Why not think of the Chinese terracotta soldiers and partly bury them at different levels in the ground or a raised bed.
A question that has just come to mind, are they frostproof?

Use as plant labels. Upend them and write the name on the bottom of the bottle. Use yacht varnish to seal them. Bb used stones in this way. He did a blog about it.

Thank you everyone for your comments on my terracotta cider pots I'm spoilt for choice on ideas I will put pics up when I have made my mind up I like the idea of the Chinese soldiers
