On plant Primula denticulata

This is normal at this time of year, it isn't a disease or anything. As the plant grows it will disappear. Some plants have furry new shoots to protect them when young.

This yellow powder is farina and is an excretion from the leaves. Far from wanting to treat it this is a desirable feature of the plant. Several species of primula feature this and if the plant was wanted for exhibition it would be under cover at the moment and being watered very carefully so as not to get splash marks on the leaves. In the garden it unfortunately gets washed off.
