Hello. sometime ago we covered a previously lawned area with Berkshire flintstone. Made life easier, we are an elderly couple. Our Neighbour has a large pinetree that sheds hundreds of needles onto our stoned area. Is there a way of removing them from the stones please? Thankyou.

if you have a leaf blower then you could use that to blow the needles off.

Or turn it to 'sucktion' and suck them off. The stones should be heavy enough that they don't get lifted.

You could brush them up or even ask the neighbour to do it, as they are from his tree?

I have to admit that leaf blowers (or suckers) drive me mad, so much noise pollution for a start and the blowers just blow stuff into a pile that the next gust of wind blows all over the place again!

Thankyou for the responses. We thought a leaf blower or sucker would move the stones too. We will borrow one and give it a try. Thankyou so much. We had tried sweeping but they dig themselves into the stones. We have tried just picking them up but it is back braking and VERY time consuming.(not getting any younger) Neighbour is 83 so can't enlist her support. Thankyou all once again.

How do I say thanks?
