Would Kerria roots cause cracks in buildings?

I doubt it. Kerria is a fairly shallow rooting shrub. That is not to say that the roots would not invade a drain if given the chance. Any shrub will do that.

i agree owdboggy. they do pull up quite easily, quite shallow roots.
