indoor lemon tree - what causes fruit to split?

Agree with previous answer - irregular and insufficient watering would cause this.

this sounds like it might be due to uneven watering patterns. the juicyness is genetic so you might have a 'dry' one. unless they have been juicy in previous years then it is def a watering problem.
