Infected soil?

I've grown tomatoes in raised beds and have late blight. Do I need to totally replace the soil before planting anything else

Most things will be fine, but next year, the tomatoes or spuds planted in the same soil will get re infected with blight. YOu would probably have to remove it sooner rather than later, before the blight spores get washed further into soil.

I have been told that a treatment of Jay's fluid and water, about 2 capfulls of Jays fluid to a gallon (4.5 ltr.) water and give the area a good soaking will do the trick. I was told this by an old allotmenteer so who knows but I will be doing it this winter!

The guy that told me said it wouldn't affect any plants at all but to do it later on in the year about four or five weeks before you start planting again. :~))

just be prepared to put up with the smell and wear od clothes because it lingers. Prob best to leave it a few months or over winter to wash out..
