freeze

Several of my unplanted zinnas and marigolds got a touch of the unplanned freeze last night. Should I try cutting off the parts that froze and plant them or is it a lost cause?

Oh dear. Are they floppy or just a bit frost-burnt? It depends how much frosting they got, but unfortunately, I think they may be goners. They are tender plants, after all! :-(
