Can I grow a lemon tree from some pips?

Oooh...thats a dodgy one!!!...you could probably get a nice "plant" from a bought lemon....but it would probably take a "lifetime" to flower and fruit!!...cheaper in the longrun to buy a fruiting plant...something like a ~"Four Seasons"... more likely to get a crop that way,,,

I planted 8 lemon pips on the hopes that I could grow a tree, thinking if one fails I have vack up

that was the case until a little mouse has scoffed the lot!! all was left was neat little holes in the seed trays!!

Lemon tree on my wishlist!!
