This plant appeared in our garden last year and we saved the seed pods from it but have no idea what it's name is or anything abaout it. Your help would be appreciated.

It is called the Shoo-Fly or Nicaudra Physaloides. It grows from seed easily every year and will also self seed around the garden. I have lots as there are hundreds of seeds in each head!
