Mini irises..so cute and beautiful

totaly forgot I had planted them last year, the dark and light blue looked so lovely in the sunshine and also some unusual snowdrops that I had given up on.Hope everyone has such a lovely sunny day, just got back from a bike ride cold but nice in the sun,it was cut short when my chain came off and I couldnt get it back on(friends husband has his uses)bought my bike when I retired in 2010 hadnt been on one for 45years so know nothing about these flipping gears. Its a wonderful way to keep fit and view the countryside.I highly recomend an evening ride down a country lane when the birds are in full song to anyone who hasnt done it since childhood.

Glad you are back safely Poppylinda. I agree about bike rides, I have not been on a bike for years now, although I bought one recently to ride along with my foster son, but it was not practical for him for safety reasons, so I gave it away, will buy another one someday and go out riding on my own. Are you going to post some pictures of your plants? :)) Sunny here too but freezing, the kind that hurts one's head, so I am staying in. :(((

yes will do michaella...took one this morning but wasnt happy with it then when I looked out after I got back the sun had gone from my front and they didnt look quite so nice will try tomorow morning.yes you do need to choose your time of day to enjoy a ride (dont tell anyone but I ride on the path sometimes)and tell my grandsons to as well when we go out.I live on a busy road and going by parked cars can be abit hairy.A foster son.... thats a nice thing to do did it myself many years ago but found the social workers too difficult!!!

I love those little irises. They certainly brighten up the winter don't they.
I'm sorry your bike broke down, but nice to hear you had a sunny day for the ride.
Nice to see your avatar pic too :o)

Me too Hywel, first time I,ve had them no idea why I have never planted them before, they dont seem to last very long though do they?Dont like planting bulbs perhaps thats why...but well worth the chore when they do pop up.Found out how to do the pic yesterday, but I WAS waiting till my poppies appear to put one of my lovely orange orientals for my avatar,I always enjoy seeing that early splash of bright colour, after the dark winter days.
