I love nice meaningful words Julie.....what does "crib it"mean? Is it a Northumberland term for nick it (:0) or a technical computer term,I'm new to all this!!!

Crib it is polite for nick it!

Not only Northumbrian as far as I know
I pick up such phrases wherever I go

I love the variety of the vernacular
Our verbal complexity is quite spectacular

From polite euphemisms to downright bawdy
It's sure to entertain this simple Geordie

Spreading the use of sayings and words
Is just like the spreading of seeds by the birds

Our language is like a well stocked garden
I hope you'll find it in your heart to pardon

My tendency to burst forth with this silly rhyme
But I am having a whale of a time!

:-)
