Watsonia Apricot (Watsonia pillansii)

This apricot flowered Watsonia came through last winter's harsh winter with just a few leaf tips frosted brown, unlike the new Red which was devastated.

Dd, I did take seed and germinated it, but ....
Meanie, that would mean digging it up. The new red was not in such a well drained spot as the Apricot.

If it survived last winter, it will survive our normal winters.....

I lost W.meriana in the ground winter gone. Glad that I didn't chance my other species.
