Trillium in flower

By Siris

Trillium in flower (Trillium chloropetalum (Giant wakerobin))

The flowers of this Trillium, which is supposed to be chloropetalum ( I am not sure it is!) are almost over now, surrounded by white Dicentra. Decent seed this year?

Love these but not something I've ever grown be good for my wood wouldn't they but is it dry or moist shade they like ?

They like shade and a soil which does not dry out. I wouldn't say my soil is ideal, that's probably why they don't increase quickly here.

Mmmmm maybe not then it gets very dry in our wood in summer and I'm terrible for remembering to water.
