Sedum 'Matrona' - 2017 (Sedum spectabile)

There is good news and bad news regarding this variety.
The good news - when the RHS had a trial of sedums several years ago, this one seemed the most popular with insects
The bad news - snails seem to find the leaves tasty

Well that is bad news Andrew. I am having such a battle with snails at the moment. I am trying to stop them eating the new leaves that create the expansion of each plant.

I don't know why they take a liking to just this variety - all the others are untouched.
