My "Garden Gnome" poppy opened overnight and gave me a lovely surprise yesterday morning :)

I got two of these this year and I'm enchanted with them. Bumblebees adore them - they practically roll about on the stamens. And I love the random way they produce colours, red, orange, yellow, white, you can never tell what's coming next!

It really is a lovely colour, I was expecting red but I love this. Hywel, it really does look like tissue paper! There's at least two more buds starting to grow, hopefully they'll be in bloom in a few days :)
