For Terratoonie - Nigella Love-in-a-Mist (Nigella damascena)

Every year I have Pale blue Nigella Love-in-a-mist in the late spring and again about this time. In June 2010 I had this darker one and I promised some seed to Terratoonie, but I forgot to mark it and once it lost it flowers I could not tell which one it was. Imagine how pleased I was to see it again this month, after 2 years with no sign, so it looks as if you might get some seeds Terra. Now I am hoping the white and pink ones might reappear – sometime?

Very pretty, I'm glad I got some of these seeds for next year already! :)

In find they are very easy, I just let the seeds drop from the plant or collect and throw it where I want them next year. Having said that there is something about a 2 year cycle with the non pale blue seeds I have not fathomed yet! One theory I have is that the seeds lay dormant in my clay until I dig over and they are then disturbed and brought nearer the surface and start to grow?
