Thank you Siris, so my daughters tell me, the water butt was full, never been know! and its so cold too, felt like turning around and going back! the garden is lush, and full of snails and slugs.....

Welcome back Angela ,I hope you had a wonderful holiday lots of good food etc. and better weather than us ! these Shoo- Fly plants are becoming a menace here they spread very quickly our elderly neighbour had them all over his garden we had a job to keep them out of ours constantly pulling them up .. slugs and snails Oh No !

Only an annual, so you will need to save some seed.

We didn't need to save it Sue they dropped there own seed ready to re-grow next year , maybe the soil plays a big part in it !
We often visit Felbrigg Hall walled gardens they also provide allotments for local people we went a month ago and the allotments were literally covered in them ,I have a feeling they are poisonous which worried me as they have families with children working on their plots ,I shall look it up ..
