Lychnis chalcedonica (Lychnis chalcedonica)

If you only like soft colours, look away now - this one is a really searing scarlet. Grows in sun on three to four feet stems that need support right from the word go. Most effective erupting between other plants as it is a skinny plant and should be cut down after flowering to prevent self-sowing
