What a great way to start 2018. This is one of six small plants of Harvington hybrid single hellebores I planted two years ago, and the first to carry a flower.

We have a white double preparing to appear but it seems reluctant to grow a stem and in this wild weather who can blame it! No sign of any attempt so far from the pink ones.
